Previously, Matthew was a Portfolio Manager at Samson, where he focused primarily on structuring and managing the firm’s tax efficient core intermediate portfolios. Prior to his role as a Portfolio Manager, he was a Portfolio Analyst with the firm, where his responsibilities included collaborating with the senior managers in managing client portfolios and contributing to new business development through the analysis and optimization of prospective portfolios.

Prior to joining Samson in 2004, Matthew was a Portfolio Analyst at Deutsche Asset Management, focusing on the municipal, corporate, U.S. government and agency sectors for the firm’s institutional accounts and mutual funds.

Matt holds a BS in Business Management from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA in Finance from Suffolk University in Boston, MA.
